Description: It is important as therapists to be confident in this delicate subject. You can expect to hear about researched methods and how to use them with suicidal clients. You will have a good understanding of why people choose to suicide. We will discuss myths, depression and self harm and how they are related to suicide. You will view videos of people’s experiences.
Speaker: Dr. Jani Marshall (hc). Jani has a Master of Suicidology and has been working with suicidal people for 13 years as a Counsellor. She has a vast knowledge in this area and is able to convey a delicate subject in a gentle way.
