Why do people suicide?

It is the only option left that makes sense to the individual.

People suicide because of their constricted thinking. There is no other option for them. Suicide is a psychological pain; Psychache. It is a loss of hope, feeling helpless and alone, feelings of shame and overwhelming guilt and so much more.

Situations can build up in a life. Multiple losses such as loss of job, deaths, status, health. When you are feeling hopeless and alone, suicide can become an option. When Psychache is added and the pain is unbearable, you then may have constricted thinking. In constricted thinking, all valid options are removed and the option of suicide remains.

You are not suicidal because you have suicidal thoughts. Many people think about suicide, but do not act on their thoughts. They get through their pain by using other resources in their lives.

What is suicide? It is the intentional taking of one’s own life. Approximately 1 million people worldwide per year choose to suicide. Below are some triggers.

Stressful life events
